Learning Center

The purpose of the Learning Center is to help students succeed in the classroom through a variety of services including, but not limited to, help with understanding course assignments and completing course projects; online tutoring; computer and Internet access; resource library and quiet study areas and workshops.

In addition, the Learning Center offers peer tutoring which provides for both individual and group instruction in many areas.

Students are invited to contact TLC to determine availability of tutors specific to their needs. No appointment is necessary to receive academic assistance and all services are provided free of charge to Kent State Trumbull students.

Learning Center Hours


Fall and Spring semesters:
Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Summer sessions:
Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Testing Hours:

Tests will be administered at the following times:  

Fall and Spring Semesters:
Wednesdays: 6 p.m.
Thursdays: 1 p.m.
Fridays: 10 a.m. & 1 p.m.

Summer Testing Hours:
By Appointment Only

FINALS WEEK SCHEDULE:

The Learning Center will be open during final examination week, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. The Learning Center will be closed Friday, May 10, 2013 and will re-open Monday, May 20, 2013 at 9 a.m. Test administration during final exam week will be at the following times:

  • Tuesday, May 7, 2013, 6:15 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 8, 2013, 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 9, 2013, 7:45 a.m.
  • Thursday, May 9, 2013, 1 p.m.
