Register Now for Summer Classes

Summer Chemistry classes are a great way to work a step ahead on your degree. Registration is now open for Summer Chemistry classes. Available courses include:

  • CHEM 10030   Chemistry in Our World 
                    (satisfies the science LER)
  • CHEM 10050   Fundamentals of Chemistry
    (2 sections, including one distance-learning section; satisfies a pre-nursing requirement and the science LER)
  • CHEM 10052   Introduction to Organic Chemistry
    (satisfies a pre-nursing requirement and the science LER)
  • CHEM 10060   General Chemistry  I  
  • CHEM 10061   General Chemistry II
  • CHEM 10062   General Chemistry I Laboratory
  • CHEM 10063   General Chemistry II Laboratory
  • CHEM 30284   Introduction to Biological Chemistry
  • CHEM 20481   Basic Organic Chemistry  I
  • CHEM 30481   Organic Chemistry I
  • CHEM 30482   Organic Chemistry II
  • CHEM 30475   Organic Chemistry Laboratory I
  • CHEM 30476   Organic Chemistry Laboratory II
  • CHEM 40245   Biochemical Foundations of Medicine

Register today to fulfill the LER or pre-nursing requirements. You can complete the entire sequence of General Chemistry (lecture and lab) or Organic Chemistry (lecture and lab) in Summer 2012. If you attend another college or university, you can take these courses at Kent this summer and transfer the credits to your home institution. For students at other Ohio state institutions, the transfer of General Chemistry (one or two semesters) and Organic Chemistry (the full two semester sequence) is guaranteed!
