Country Singer Katie Armiger in Concert

Country music performer Katie Armiger will be live in concert Fri., Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas in New Philadelphia.  

Armiger first performed on the Kent State Tuscarawas stage when she opened for Darius Rucker in 2011. Her extensive touring experience includes opening slots for some of country music's biggest artists including Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Eli Young Band, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Rodney Atkins and Kellie Pickler, among others. This show is co-sponsored by WTUZ.  

Country singer Tony Rio will open for Armiger. Rio, who is from Akron, has been playing fairs, festivals and bars for more than 11 years. He performs his own music in addition to today's top country hits.  

Tickets for Katie Armiger range from $11-$17 and can be purchased now at the Performing Arts Center box office, online at www.tusc.kent.edu/pac or by calling 330-308-6400. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
