Trio of scholarship opportunities now available!

A trio of scholarship opportunities is now being made available to Kent State University at Trumbull students. Read on for additional information and how to apply.

Trumbull Town Hall:
The Trumbull Town Hall is offering a scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. To qualify, students must:

·         Be registered or intend to enroll full-time (12 or more credit hours) at Kent State Trumbull for the 2011-2012 academic year.
·         Be a Trumbull County resident.
Be a non-traditional female student (over age 24).
·         Have achieved a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
·         Be at least a junior (earned 60 or more credit hours).
·         Have your 2011-2012 FAFSA on file by the application deadline.

Completed applications are due Friday, May 6 by 5 p.m. and may be turned into the Student Services Office at Kent State Trumbull. 

LifeShare:
Kent State Trumbull has earned several $500 scholarships from LifeShare to be given to students for the 2011-2012 academic year. To qualify, students must:

·         Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment for the 2011-2012 academic year at Kent State. Trumbull as a full-time (12 or more credit hours) student.
·         Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
·         Have achieved a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
·         Have your 2011-2012 FAFSA on file by the application deadline.

Please read the attached scholarship requirement letter for more details on qualifying for the scholarship. Completed applications are due on Friday, May 20 by 5 p.m. and may be turned into the Student Services Office at Kent State Trumbull.

Warren/Trumbull County American Association of University Women
The Warren/Trumbull County chapter of the American Association of University Women is offering a scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. To qualify, students must:

·         Be a non-traditional female (age 25 or higher) and of junior or senior standing.
·         Be enrolled at Kent State Trumbull.
·         Be a resident of Trumbull County.
·         Have achieved a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.

Completed applications are due on Tuesday, May 31 by 5 p.m. and may be turned into the Student Services Office at Kent State Trumbull.
