Auditions for "The Laramie Project" happen August 23 & 24

Posted Aug. 11, 2011

The Kent Trumbull Theatre will be holding auditions for upcoming performances of "The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later, an Epilogue".

The story is a jarring, heartrending play that interspersed dozens of interviews with hundreds of locals a month after Matthew Shepard was murdered in Laramie, Wyoming in 1998 with updated interviews in the quiet Wyoming college town to see how - and if - things had changed.

Auditions will be held on August 23-24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Kent Trumbull Theatre, located on the campus of Kent State University at Trumbull, 4314 Mahoning Ave NW, Warren.

The show is a directed by Daniel-Raymond Nadon and will be performing October 7-9 and 14-16. Requirements for the production include 8-16 men and women for an ensemble cast playing over 60 different characters. Actors should be prepared to read from the script.
