Oil & Gas Session on Real Estate and Mineral Rights

The Canton Small Business Development Center and Kent State University at Stark, with the attorneys at Roetzel & Andress, will present the second event in the four-part Oil and Gas Education Series.
 
The public presentations are designed to provide education to members of the community. Presented by knowledgeable attorneys at Roetzel & Andress, each event will provide a factual forum, with an opportunity for attendees to ask questions regarding the subject matter.
 
Each event in the series will take place from 6:30 - 8 p.m. in Kent State Stark’s Main Hall Auditorium, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. Register online for $10 per person or $15 per couple at www.cantonsbdc.org
 

Real Estate and Mineral Rights

The program will explain property and mineral interests, exploring different types of ownership, such as property, mineral and royalty, as well as additional topics, including curing land titles, types of conveyances and the laws governing oil and gas ownership and development.                      
Presenters:     
Brian J. Moore
Brian Moore is a Roetzel & Andress partner and member of the firm’s Oil and Gas Industry Team. His practice focuses on real estate, land use, construction law and financial services, including development, eminent domain, conveyancing and leasing, among others. He has represented key parties in many high-profile real estate transactions. Noted for his extensive experience in negotiating loan documentation and real estate, Moore was named to The Best Lawyers in America® list for Banking and Finance Law & Real Estate Law (2005-13).
Randall J. Moore
As a Roetzel & Andress partner, Randall Moore has considerable experience with oil and gas cases involving leasing, permitting drilling units and administrative proceedings. He is a member of the Ohio Oil & Gas Association and represents both landowners and operators in oil and gas related issues. In addition to oil and gas matters, he maintains a litigation practice where he handles a broad spectrum of cases from product liability defense, commercial litigation, retail liability, insurance coverage, transportation and toxic tort litigation. For 2013, Moore was named to The Best Lawyers in America® list for Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law.
