On July 17 & 18, Kent State Trumbull is hosting students from the Warren-based Inspiring Minds program as university faculty and staff will be working with students from the program and instructing them in the area of mathematics, using a computer-based software tool with an aim of helping the students achieve higher rates of competency in math, and thus, better prepare them for college.

In the future, Kent Trumbull hopes to partner with Inspiring Minds to offer students access to other campus resources in other areas of academic preparation as well, including college reading and writing programs.
