Kent State University at Trumbull will host its 2010 Founders Day Celebration on Friday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Technology Building.

The intent of the celebration is to build a sense of heritage and tradition, by acknowledging as Founders, the people who have contributed in exceptional ways to the university, the campus and the community.

The 2010 Founders Award Honorees:
Dr. Alan Coe, Campus Dean from 1973-1982
Elizabeth Hoobler, Emeriti Faculty Award
Allen Maurer and Robert Daniel Allen, Alumni Award Honorees

The Kent Trumbull Campus Distinguished Service Award recipients:
Faculty:  Dr. Daniel Nadon and Dr. Alberta DeCapito
Administrator:  Christine Cooney
Staff:  Arlene Rosemond
Kent Trumbull Student:  Joe Toto

Registration and refreshments will occur at 2:00 p.m. with the presentation of the awards beginning at 2:30 p.m.
