"Green" meeting with Sen. Brown's office happens ThursdayPosted Apr. 19, 2011
The Kent State University at Trumbull SIFE Team will be participating in an internet “Town Hall” meeting with Jonathan McCracken, the top climate advisor to U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, on Thursday, April 21 at 1 p.m.
The one-hour meeting is designed to engage students in dialog on climate and clean energy with key decision-makers in Washington. Kent State Trumbull SIFE students will be joining with community members and students from Oberlin College and Baldwin Wallace for this event.
Topics of discussion will include Green jobs and environmental sustainability as well as provide an open forum for attendees to bring other initiatives to the fore.
The event will take place using Oovoo software (similar to Skype) and is open to anyone and can be accessed by cutting pasting the following link into your browser:
Virtual seating is limited. Interested parties are encouraged to sign up in advance as soon as possible.
Students, faculty and staff of Kent State Trumbull wishing to take part in the meeting may do so by visiting Room 253 in the Technology Building on April 21 at 1 p.m.
