Kent State University at Trumbull assistant professor of nursing, Mary Beth Lukach, MSN, RN, CNS was presented with the Outstanding Teaching Award for non-tenure track faculty on Oct. 9 in a surprise ceremony at Kent State Trumbull attended by many students and colleagues.

Lukach, who has been at Kent State Trumbull since 2006, was one of three recipients of the award from a field of over 100 nominees from across the eight-campus Kent State system.

Lukach was presented the award by Robert Sines, dean, Kent State Trumbull and Ann Morrison, Ph.D., Educational Studies. Lukach was nominated for the award by several of her nursing students.
