Trumbull Theatre announces High School intern participants
Posted Jun. 8, 2010The Kent State University at Trumbull Theatre is proud to introduce the participants of its Ninth Annual High School Internship in Technical Theatre program.
The internship will include training in scenery, scene painting, properties, lighting, sound and costuming. The commitment for interns includes 15 hours per week for eight weeks and fulfilling a crew position for one show. At the end of the summer, successful interns will receive a check for $500.
This year's group includes (front row, left to right) Allie Vugrincic (John F. Kennedy High), Tatyana Atkinson (Tri-Cities High) and Arica Zimmer (John F. Kennedy High); (back row) Calli Hoostal (home schooled); Olivia Phillips (Crestwood High), Alaxandra Ozimek (John F. Kennedy High), Robert Katkowsky (Trumbull Theatre technical director/internship supervisor) and Celissa Martinez (Hubbard High).
The internship program is made possible by a grant from Huntington National Bank.
