Spring 2012 establishes all-time enrollment high
Posted Jan. 24, 2012WARREN, Ohio – Kent State University at Trumbull announced today that enrollment for Spring 2012 stands at 3,255 students, an increase of 208 students (6.8 percent) from one year ago according to the official 15-day figures released today.
The Spring 2012 figure tops the previous all-time enrollment high established Fall 2011 when 3,207 students attended classes. With today's announcement, Kent State Trumbull has now posted eight consecutive semesters of increased enrollment.
"I think what makes our campus most attractive to the student population is our outstanding faculty," said Kent State Trumbull Dean Robert Sines. "More than 90-percent have earned a master's degree or Ph.D and our small class sizes afford our students opportunities to forge one-on-one relationships and gain a truly personalized learning experience."
