The Kent Trumbull Theatre and Summer Stock 35 are currently playing host to five area high school students who are taking part in the 11^th Annual Theatre Technician Internship Program. Funding for the program is provided courtesy of private donors.

Students participating in this year’s program include Joe Asente (Girard High School), Kat Bachman (Girard High School), Calli Hoostal (TCTC), Amber Palmer (Lakeview High School) and Brad-Michael Sampson (LaBrae High School).

Students are receiving instruction in set design and construction, properties, scenic art, costuming, lighting and sound technologies as well as office management, marketing and performing other duties as assigned by Tony E. Kovacic, Summer Stock Technical Theatre Director.

Each student works either 15 hours per week for eight weeks between June 1 and August 1, 2012 or a total of 120 hours from May 1 thru August 1, 2012. In addition, each student must crew at least one Summer Stock 35 show during the course of the summer.
