The Kent State Trumbull advisors look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals! Students who work with an advisor increase their chances for success in completing an academic degree. Advisors can assist you with academic planning and help you navigate a successful pathway to graduation.
Kent State Trumbull academic advisors are available on a walk-in basis during scheduled hours. Kent Trumbull also hosts academic advisors from other Kent State campuses to support students who are enrolled in select bachelor degree programs or who will complete their degree at another campus. All advising with visiting advisors is by appointment only. To schedule an appointment with a visiting advisor, please call 330-675-8860 or visit the Student Services Office inside the Workforce Development and Continuing Studies Building.
A few words about required advising: Are you new to Kent State? If you are, then you need to know about required advising! You are required to meet with an advisor every semester while you are a Freshman or Sophomore, and at least once per year when you are a Junior or Senior. So, if you haven’t seen an advisor yet this semester, make sure you come in during walk in hours to see one. If you are a student that started at Kent State before Fall 2012, you are not required to see an advisor, but we still highly recommend it!
Additionally, advisors from the Kent Campus will be visiting the Trumbull Campus soon and are available to meet with you. Dates and times of future visits will be posted here.
Interested students will be able to make an appointment to visit with those advisors by contacting the Office of Enrollment Management and Student Services at 330-675-8860 or by emailing trumbulladvisor@kent.edu.
