Students may register for the first time by paper folder or via the ACT website
Students who are currently in high school and who have taken the ACT Assessment on a national test date within the last two years may reregister using either of the first-time registration methods; these students have the additional option to reregister by telephone for an additional fee. The regular and late deadlines apply to all methods of registration. See Registering for the ACT Assessment for details.
Non-Saturday testing is offered in remote areas and for students whose religious faith prohibits testing on Saturday. See Registering for the ACT Assessment for details.
Standby testing is available for an additional fee if space and materials are available after registered students have been admitted. See Registering for the ACT Assessment for details.
Extended-time testing (five hours total time, including breaks between tests) is available on the October, December, and April test dates only for students with diagnosed disabilities. An additional application must be submitted with the registration folder by the regular registration deadline.
See Registering for the ACT Assessment for details.
