Student Disability Services

The mission of Student Disability Services (SDS) is to provide assistance to students with varying degrees and types of disabilities in order to enhance their academic potential and to minimize any physical and attitudinal barriers they might encounter at the university.Kent State University Regional campuses are committed to improving access to all aspects of university life. Types of disabilities of students who receive services through Student Disability Services include but are not limited to:

  • Hearing disabilities
  • Mobility impairments
  • Physical disabilities
  • Psychological/psychiatric disabilities
  • Specific learning disabilities
