Bob Fisher Exhibition

October 10-November 19, 2011

Bob Fisher is an Atlanta-based visual artist, designer, and writer who works primarily in sketchbook form.  After graduating from the Atlanta College of Art, Bob exhibited his paintings, sculptures, and prints throughout the southeast
United States and in the U.K. He frequently included sketchbooks in his shows, allowing viewers a unique entrée into his creative process.  In the mid 1990s, Bob turned his attention to illustration and graphic design, eventually becoming an
art director for Cartoon Network and the
owner of a design and communications consultancy. During this period he continued to keep sketchbooks, eventually focusing his personal work on that medium.  In 2003, he launched sketchbob.com, an online gallery of his work. In 2010, he expanded the site to include his writings on sketchbooks, art, design, and the creative process, as well as resources for those who wish to further investigate the potential of sketchbooks as a medium of creative expression.  Today Bob continues to share his work through the site and live exhibitions. He also speaks to student, cultural, and professional groups on the topics of creativity and art.
